Gentle Yoga
A relaxing stretch class incorporating a block to release deeper into hip/low back muscles.
Bender Ball Mat Pilates
Warm-up consists of standing barre exercises to strengthen total body and core (socks required, utilize dumbbells, rings, ties), seated core work with Bender ball at lower back and between knees to enhance strengthening effects and provide lumbar support, finish with a fabulous roll over the Bender ball. Variations offered throughout class to accommodate all fitness levels, as well as injuries. Amazing results for people with low back issues.
Class starts with relaxation and breathing techniques, stretching on our backs, then moving into strengthening/stretching postures, finishing with final relaxation. Variations are offered throughout class to accommodate all fitness levels, as well as injuries, along with the use of props as needed (blocks, blankets, straps, even a wall or a chair).
Yoga Infused Pilates
More stretching incorporated into this class than the Bender Ball Pilates. Pilates originated from modified yoga, body weight strength training and dance moves, so it’s not too far of a stretch:)
