Increase blood flow to your brain stem with this simple adjustment

Most people have a tendency to lead with their chins. Maybe it’s because culturally, we’re taught that there’s nothing worse than being old or fat (I disagree). So we jut out our chins in an effort to hide any excess or aging flesh we might have around our throats.

The trouble with that is, it places compression on our brain stems and restricts blood flow to the brain. I believe that can contribute to unnecessary discomfort and potentially Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Your brain is an amazing organ. Why wouldn’t you want it working optimally at all times?

Once in a while, when you’re in the car or watching TV, make this simple adjustment, as demonstrated here by my daughters Nicole and Faith. You’ll be giving that biological computer in your skull the power supply it needs to function flawlessly.

Lisa

“Chair Fit” isn’t just for the elderly.

I want to clear up a misconception about my Chair Fit class. Some people think it’s only for the elderly. Not true.

While  quite a few seniors are opting for Chair Fit these days due to a reduced risk of injury, Chair Fit is beneficial to anyone.

Maybe you have trouble standing for long stretches of time. Maybe you’ve been hurt. Maybe you’re having an exhausting day and you need to take it easy, but don’t want to skip your workout entirely. Maybe you’re working your way up to taking a standing class, but your core needs strengthening first.

Take a minute to watch this video in which I explain some benefits of Chair Fit. Hope you’ll join us!
