Most people have a tendency to lead with their chins. Maybe it’s because culturally, we’re taught that there’s nothing worse than being old or fat (I disagree). So we jut out our chins in an effort to hide any excess or aging flesh we might have around our throats.
The trouble with that is, it places compression on our brain stems and restricts blood flow to the brain. I believe that can contribute to unnecessary discomfort and potentially Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Your brain is an amazing organ. Why wouldn’t you want it working optimally at all times?
Once in a while, when you’re in the car or watching TV, make this simple adjustment, as demonstrated here by my daughters Nicole and Faith. You’ll be giving that biological computer in your skull the power supply it needs to function flawlessly.
